Profit Pit Stop

Shift 1: Your first garage
A REAL GARAGE TO RUN

Two bays.
A queue of choices.

Choose profitable jobs, set prices customers will pay, and keep your mechanics supplied. Great decisions make a great garage.

NZ dollars. Simplified business simulation without tax or depreciation. Unused stock is an asset; paid expert assistance is a shift expense.

You manage. Your crew services.

  1. Pick a customer. Compare their budget, contribution and patience. A $110 full service with $50 parts contributes $60, but occupies a bay longer.
  2. Choose a bay. Alex works faster; Mia lets you serve another car at the same time. Booked prices are locked in.
  3. Advance time. In relaxed mode press Advance 10 seconds. In rush mode time runs automatically; you can pause. Mechanics finish jobs and collect payment without extra taps.
  4. Keep the business moving. Buy stock, change prices, hire faster help or decline a job. Spending reduces cash; only used parts and expenses reduce profit.

Worked choice: A customer with a $55 budget rejects a $65 tyre job. Value pricing makes it $55. With $30 parts, it still contributes $25. A premium customer might pay $85 for that same service.

Rejecting an over-budget quote costs 8 reputation; waiting too long costs 6; declining costs 3. Completed jobs recover 2. The garage finishes booked jobs after closing, but accepts no new ones.
